Healthy indoor air supports children in daycare

For more than 25 years, a Condair humidification system has helped create a healthy indoor environment at Hyldehaven, a specialist daycare centre in Denmark for children with asthma, allergies and eczema. By maintaining an optimal indoor humidity level, the system supports the wellbeing of both children and staff while improving everyday comfort throughout the building.

Healthy humidity for healthier children

Children with respiratory conditions and sensitive skin are particularly affected by dry indoor air. Maintaining a stable indoor humidity helps reduce irritation to the airways and skin, creating a more comfortable environment for children to play, learn and rest.

HMF Group

Terma

NRGi

At energy utility NRGi, both staff and visitors notice the effects of a healthier indoor climate and proper air humidity. NRGi's iconic office building in Aarhus Nord is characterised by its unique design and vast glass facades. Energy consultant Claus Ankjæro tells how the utility's goal is to ensure the healthiest, most energy-efficient indoor climate possible. Achieving this is impossible without both a ventilation system and humidification. This is also why NRGi has benefited from having a healthy indoor climate both summer and winter since 2015.
