Excessively high temperatures and low humidity have been shown to reduce work performance and increase the likelihood of errors and accidents. Studies show that productivity can drop by 3 to 12% in conditions of high heat stress. In addition to employee performance, the indoor climate also influences the quality of the end products, as many materials and manufacturing steps are sensitive to temperature fluctuations. Adiabatic evaporative cooling offers an efficient solution for lowering room temperature and stabilising humidity. Cut energy costs with evaporative cooling
Adiabatic evaporative cooling is one of the most energy-efficient methods for cooling production and work spaces or even data centres. Compared to conventional air conditioning units, it can reduce cooling energy costs significantly. The principle uses the evaporation of water to extract heat from the ambient air, which can lower the temperature by an average of 2 to 5 °C – with minimal energy consumption. High-pressure nozzle humidifiers installed directly in the room, for example, require only 0.6 kW of energy to evaporate 100 litres of water and absorb around 70 kW of heat. This technology enables a sustainable reduction in energy consumption and contributes significantly to lowering operating costs.
